"any pain that persists beyond the anticipated time of healing (three months), and has not responded to appropriate medical treatments, adversely impacted patients' life; medically , physically, emotionally, leisurely, professionally and even their relationships."
Ultimately chronic pain results in suffering as a state of being, causing: physical Immobility, isolation and dependency. "It's like I'm trapped and there is no way out" , patients would commonly say !

There are more than 50 million patients with
chronic pain in the United States alone.
The medical and socioeconomic cost of
chronic pain to our country is in the billions of dollars.
Chronic pain impacts all aspects of the
patient "s life both medically and physically,
and effects their psychosocial, leisure and
vocational well-being.The result is suffering -
a distinct component of chronic pain.
At CEPM, we have discovered and
created a breakthrough treatment approach
which includes the step-by-step examination
of suffering. Under the leadership of a highly
trained physician, the structured group
setting, which includes life coaching along
with group sharing, allows participants to
see, for the first time, the vicious cycle of chronic pain and suffering.
This new awareness empowers participants
to learn pain reducing strategies, functional
exercises, and social activities, allowing the
opportunity for a productive and fulfilling life.
CEPM programs are delivered in a 2-hour weekly classesten for 10 weeks, created, developed,and taught by Dr. Fred Nowroozi, a renowned board certified physician in Pain Medicine with more than 30 years experience of treating patients with chronic pain.
Tuition also includes a weekly group call led by Dr. Nowroozi and other Life Coaches.
They will assist you to see the impact of limitations imposed on you by chronic pain. This awareness will allow you to experience a newly discovered freedom to reinvent a new YOU.
